Default Is anyone taking the GREs this year?

Join me in discussing strategies, styles, what you dislike. I am wary of the Math section but it's only 28 questions so I should be cool. I'll be taking a class before I take the exam. I didn't do that 3 1/2 years ago and it's cost me time I could have spent at school. Everything happens for a reason, so I won't dwell on it too much.

I plan on taking them in the fall. Through what program are you taking the class? So far, I've bought a book but I have yet to open it.

I'm going to take them in the fall too. Don't know if I'll take a class or not, the class I took for the LSAT didn't really help me, so I'm leery of trying another.

Good luck!

I used the Kaplan software program to prepare when I took the test 2 years ago. I liked it... it wasn't great, but there were some neat little word games and such that helped with vocab, and plenty of practice tests and practice sections.

I ended up getting such a good score on the math and verbal that I was convinced the computer had messed up somehow. Maybe it was all the practice tests I took. My analytical writing score, however, was abysmal.. I think it was a 4 out of 6. Somehow I still got into all the grad schools I applied to.

I also had to take the Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology subject test, so I may be able to provide advice if anyone is taking that one.
