Jason and I are going out to dinner with his Aunt Sara. She has picked the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner - I've never been. I am trying to stay ON PLAN for this meal (this is not a treat meal). I've also been out to dinner many times this last week, so I definitely do not have wiggle room to just "order what I want to, it's dinner with family, enjoy yourself!" Don't get me wrong, that is sometimes the right approach, but not the right one for me right now!
I've found the nutritional info online and was very suprised that the spinach/cheese ravioli is apparently one of the lowest calorie options on the menu (at 480 calories). Does that sound right?

I figured I would get the 60 calorie minestrone soup as an appetizer, then the 500 calorie (I am a rounder-upper) ravioli and look like a "normal" person at dinner. I know it doesn't matter what people think, but I'd rather not look like a "food freak" in front of Jason's relatives who I just met!
Does anyone else have any dinner suggestions for the Old Spaghetti Factory? Maybe whole wheat penne pasta with marinara (and don't eat al the pasta - I'm sure the serving size will be too big anyway).
Thanks!!
Jen
