Default Weigh In

Lost 2.7 this week for a total of 7 lbs. I am happy for the loss, however cannot help but think of how much I'd have lost by now if I'd been adhering more closely to the plan! Arghh! It sure makes me want to do better this week!

A guy in my meeting this week lost 11 pounds while I lost 1. I just thought to myself, "What the heck?!" But then I have to remind myself that all our bodies are different and losing one is better than staying the same and much better than gaining. At least we are finally moving in the right direction!

Never felt better to be a loser!!! Keep it up, Barb!

Mellbell, holy heck, 11 pounds!? Was it his first week or something?

I tell myself the same thing, that as long as I am doing what I'm supposed to and the scale is going in the right direction, that's all that matters. But all the same I do hope I lose more than .4 lbs next week.

Barb, I saw someone's sig on 3FC the other day that said something like "The key to weight-loss is persistence, not perfection." Keep on plan and the pounds will keep coming off!

no it wasn't his first week but apparently he had a gain the week before although I don't know how much. I thought he was going to get a standing ovation when they asked him how much he lost. I know my jaw hit the floor.

I went for my first weigh in yesterday and only lost 6lbs - I was a little bummed because I thought it was going to be more - but then someone told me to think of it like losing a 5lb bag of sugar off my body and that visual cheered me up again.

Congrats to all who lost this week!
