Talking I can shop in a normal shop!

I'm over the moon, I just had to tell someone. I went to Asda today and bought clothes, just like that, so easy and simple and something skinny people take so much for granted.

I didnt have to make a special trip to Evans or go on the internet or ring my catalogue, it was awesome!

I'm about a size 24/26 now (down from a 30) and I went into ASDA today and got size 24 clothes (to be fair they are still a little tight, but I love seeing once tight clothes begin to fit as i lose weight, its a big motivator for me rather than just seeing the number on a scale going down). Plus it is so cheap shopping in a non-specialist shop, I'm so happy. 2 bras, pack of 3 knickers, a jumper, jeans and a winter coat all for £40.00.

I know I have a while before being able to get in Primark or H&M stuff, but defo in the right direction.

I hope others are having these same experiences because it was so uplifting. I've had a couple of down and stressful weeks where no weight has come off, and I just know that this will be a big motivator to get back on track

Yes I have clothes from asda now Last tiem I went in Evan's I felt out of place there as I'm much thinner than a lot of people shopping there now. I've got some really good bargains from the sale rack at asda and a few other nice things

That's wonderful, congratulations! I found a coat in Asda last week that fit but just wasn't sure about it as I thought it might be a bit formal for me, but to be able to get into something from somewhere other than Evans was a great feeling. I can't wait for the day when I can say bye to Evans for good.

Congrats - getting into smaller clothes is just such an ego boost! I had the delight this weekend of buying a new jacket for the autumn - my hips are my problem area, yet I got into a size 12 on a style that is fitted on hips- two sizes smaller than the last winter coat - so feeling well chuffed!
Now to get into the gorgeous size 10 Karen Millen coat I bought last time I lost weight - can now do it up - but still too tight to wear - but not for much longer hopefully!

That`s great - well done!

Smaller clothes are so much more motivating than a number on the scales or measuring tape.

I find it irritating to wear clothes which don`t fit. Last month, I treated myself to a new wardrobe in a new size (although it`s not yet my goal size), and since I`m wearing that I really feel slim (or at least no longer fat). It`s also when others started to notice my weight loss and the compliments start coming in - even more motivating!

Aw that's great lyndsey, well done.

God, I hate Evans....I have lost and put on a couple of times now, and it is the ultimate betrayal of self, and the final disgrace when you need a new outfit, and the only place to go is Evans - I never want to shop there again.

Ps Lyndsey, another great place is Monsoon, the go up to 22, but with loose tops and cardies etc should be ok now for ya!

I can't wait until I can shop in a shop other than Evans for jeans/trousers. I can fit into some tops from Dorothy Perkins but I'm about a size 26 on the bottom.

I actually work at Evans, but it would certainly be nice not to HAVE to shop there because it's my only option!
