.... As long as your moving you're burning calories... My GF last week said after we had done 35k of biking and working up a huge sweat, «Too bad biking doesn't burn calories!»
I almost did a back flip and I immediately corrected that myth she had heard... Ok, if you're just coasting you're not burning calories, but the way we were biking, we were burning major calories....

but all that to say that you burn calories as long as you're getting your heart rate up... so YES you do burn calories jogging in place...
