Default Zumba

I have never did this type of exercise but I did get 3 Zumba DVDs today. Have not used them yet. I am wondering if anyone does Zumba workouts and any opinions and advice.

I haven't tried the DVD's so I can't speak to that. However, I HAVE done Zumba classes a few times at my daughter's dance studio. I used to be a dancer 'back in the day' so I found them especially fun. You don't need to be/ have been a dancer in order to do the moves. I really enjoyed the workout and found it plenty challenging. I hope the videos are as much fun as a live class. Enjoy!

Hi!

I do Zumba twice a week, I love dancing and Zumba was the only way to get me to go to the gym.

I agree, it is a lot of fun and I've been thinking about buying some videos to be able to do it at home as well. Our instructor incorporates resistance bands and some "Turbo Jam"/Kickboxing on Thursdays, she also keeps the class entertaining.

Let us know about the videos and enjoy your sweating!

Never been a dancer, never danced, am totally uncoordinated, can't shake my booty worth a darn, but I absolutely love Zumba. I take a class, but I think a video would be great, too. It's amazing how much I sweat and get my heartrate up--more so than step aerobics.

I have the 3 DVD series and I LOVE it! The tutorials are great. I still haven't mastered all of the moves (I still can't shimmy very well), but I have so much fun doing them! And, it is a GREAT workout!

Enjoy!

When I bought it years ago it came in a two pack. I used the beginner one the most. I actually did it last week just because I wanted to.
