Horse back riding
I used to ride horses for a lot of years, so I decided after 20 years or so to give it a try. I'm going to go once a week or so for an hour.
So I am talking lessons here not just bouncing around some field. The instructor got on a megaphone and made me work the whole hour. My inner thighs were so sore, like for a week! Anyway I did okay, walked trotted, backed, circled, and attempted to canter. I also think it gives me motivation to get fitter and to ba a decent rider. I also have been mountain biking (1 time per week), running (2x per week), and some light exercise on other days.
So what does everyone thing as riding for exercise? I always thought the horse did all the work, but actually the horse wasn't even sweating, but I was.
And the pain I felt after was like nothing I've felt for a long time.
