Default WW Ice Cream Products

Anyone else have trouble losing while eating the WW frozen treats? i.e. ice cream, bars, cones, etc.

My sis-in-law did the program about a year ago and said to stay away from this stuff because it slows down your loss. I looked at the Nutritional Info on the back and each bar or cup has about 20 sugars in it which is quite a lot.

Somebody please tell me they eat these reguarly while OP without a problem. A girl like me needs her ice cream fix!

I eat one of those cups or a chocolate fudge bar regularly! No problems losing weight either

She probably said that because you would eat all of them. LOL. These are the best tasting desserts I have had in a very long time! I just bought the vanilla ice cream cones and they are YUMMY TO THE 10TH POWER!! Publix has them on sale today for $3.50 each! Ice cream sandwiches (both kind) cones, etc. I thought they would have a weird aftertaste but no! They are also very big so it really hits the spot!

I eat them, but in moderation. There is a lot of sugar, so I try not to have more than a treat or two a week, but everyone's body is different! I think you're safe as long as you are counting them and eating a balanced diet!

I like skinny cow ice cream sandwiches and eat them regularly. Just another option.

Aldi Fit & Active ice cream sandwiches and swirly bars are the same points as the WW ice creams but a lot cheaper.

I love them. But I don't eat them every day. My favorite WW dessert is the Key Lime Pie...it's not with the ice cream, its with the other desserts like Strawberry Shortcake, etc...

I am a HUGE Key lime pie lover and I really LOVE theirs, it is 4 points though so I make sure to have it as a treat. I couldn't eat it every day.

I think if I ate one every day, or more than once a day then yes, it would stall my progress but WW is all about teaching a new lifestyle and I am not planning on depriving myself of all sweets and treats for the rest of my life.

I really love the Skinny Cow ice cream cones in Mint Fudge and Vanilla Caramel. I try to leave myself points at the end of the day for a treat, because I know that I'll feel deprived if I don't get some kind of dessert.

I keep the 2 point cones around, along with sugar-free pudding (1 pt) and sugar free jello cups (0 pts).

I've bought 1 pt (or is it 0?) fudge bars in the past but I prefer the crunch of the cones. Maybe when I have less points to spend...

I don't worry about the sugar, just the points. I've never had a problem losing as long as I'm on program.

I think it's all okay in moderation, as mentioned above. As long as you stick to points, don't worry about anything else

These products are safe if you can only eat just ONE. I find they truly help me get through the evenings and stay in control. My husband can eat anything, truly, without weight gain. I love this man, but hate that one thing about him as it makes me look bad. : ) But, I have had two children and he has not, and to be truthful I never had much of a weight issue until having kids. So, that is his fault? : )
At any rate, he sits there night after night eating Ben and Jerrys Ice Cream out of the carton in front of me and without these WW treats, I'd lose control and really feel deprived.
Just ONE is often hard as I would love to have two or three, but I stick with my just one.

I bought a pack of the new WW Cookies and Cream Big Bars. I don't usually like bar-format stuff, but this was OMG good. So soft and the cookie crumbs on the outside were really different. 2 thumbs (and points) UP!

Hi there!
Your question kind of illustrates the point of WW, which is GREAT! I can't imagine a life without ice cream. Especially in the summer. So you've found a fabulous solution that lets you get your fix within the plan! Yippee!!!!

We have to LIVE, you know. So IF it slows your weight loss, which I doubt that it will, it won't do it by much if you are eating them within your plan. So live a little! Just keep track of the points, and monitor yourself.
