Default Beat a busy craving

So Holy Week is really busy, rushing round like a mad thing here. Going off to get ready for a service in about half an hour.

Just made a pasta pot luck thing for tomorrow night (the recipe says chill for 24 hours) and first resist: I didn't pick at any of it, pasta, olives, basil balsamic dressing, at all.

I don't eat until I get back from this service - mostly fear of the gurgly bottom that's been mentioned (great name) on this site before.
When I was putting the pasta in the fridge, some mini-samosas called to me. They're only 50 cal each but I think the fat content would put me over my limit, and I try to stick to what sparkpeople says.
Some mini bhajis joined in.
Some flatbread thins took up the chorus.
In the background the theme was, 'you bought these. you've got to eat them some time. you CAN'T waste food.....'

It was soooo tempting. but who wants fatty arteries and a gurgly bottom?
I got as far as biting a bit of the samosa, and it tasted great, but I spat it out in the bin. And put the rest in the bin. A waste? yes but I want a waist.

A black coffee, and I'll survive now until I eat, around 20:30.

All these little battles mean I WILL win the war.....

That's great... at least you stopped yourself before you actually ate it.

Great job at not giving into temptation --- which seems somehow appropriate for Holy Week, doesn't it? You seem to be really hitting your stride lately, Ailidh!
