GOD'S TIMING ~ Mid-Week Boost
But Jesus answered them, saying, “The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified.
Most assuredly “Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’?
But for this purpose I came to this hour. Father, glorify Your name.”
Then a voice came from heaven, saying, “I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.”
John 12
The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.
Mark 1:15
In the fullness of time, God sent His Son.
Galatians 4:4
God’s Timing
Pastor spoke this weekend about how Jesus waited until the appointed time to begin His ministry, and again waited for the perfect time to give Himself up to be killed for us and our salvation.
The Messiah was promised thousands of years before He came.
While He was with us, He promised to come again.
Know that in the fullness of time...He will. God keeps His promises.
God has also promised us things in our lives.
He promises to meet our needs.
He promises to strengthen us and preserve us.
He promises to answer our prayers,
just as a father would answer a request by his son.
Sometimes we feel as if He moves too slowly.
When things don't happen in OUR time, we fall into doubt and despair.
Rest assured that in the fullness of time, HIS time, He will keep His promises.
“Beneath The Cross of Jesus” verse 2
Upon the cross of Jesus, My eye at times can see
The very dying form of one Who suffered there for me.
And from my contrite heart, with tears, Two wonders I confess:
The wonder of His glorious love And my unworthiness
