Thumbs up a new step for me today

i've decided to set myself mini goals todays task to try and exercise five minutes longer than i did on tuesday i missed yesterday becos i had to take mum to the hospital and i did beat myself up about it but i'm looking forward not back new wieght lose target 8lbs this month

It sounds like you have a great attitude, and I think your mini-goal is awesome! Were you able to meet it?

Mini goals or what I like to call "games" are GREAT for helping me make progress or move to the next level. Keep it up!!!

I think as women especially we tend to beat ourselves up alot and hold ourselves to a much higher standard than we expect from others around us. I am finally learning to forgive myself and to be kind to myself. We need to turn off the bad self talk--it only makes me want to eat more which makes me feel badly which makes me want to eat more. Are you seeing this cycle?

Forgiveness. And going to bed early. Tommorow is a new day and everything always seems better after a good night of sleep.

Ann, I hope your mom is feeling better.
