I just joined this forum today and don't want to brag too much but I figure the mini goal forum is the place where i can just pat myself on the back for a minute.
I posted an intro but just to sum up, I've been losing weight on my own for a few months now and OMG the changes!
-First- the scale: I'm FINALLY under 140! Something I haven't been in almost 5 years. It's thrilling!
- My energy level: I used to HATE housework and wait until it was piled so high that i HAD to do it. Then it would take forever and I would be exhausted. Now I just breeze through my day to day life always feeling energized and like I could do anything.
- My mood: I don't feel grouchy and upset and depressed anymore. I feel good about myself on the outside and that makes me feel good on the inside.
- I went SHOPPING. And i was down TWO sizes! I was so ecstatic!
- Then finally, OTHERS noticed. I have a local hangout bar I go to most Fridays and one of the regular girl bartenders pointed out how fanastic I looked and wanted to know my secret.
So those aren't really goals that i SET in advance but I feel like they are goals reached nontheless because they happened.
