Hi everyone! New member here and I've been lurking for a few days, but I just had to join after seeing how wonderfully inspiring you all are!

I am ordering Medifast on Monday, after my doctor's ok. (I'm 99.99% sure I'll get the go ahead.) Before ordering however, I had a few questions for those of you that order from Canada...

How much does shipping to Canada cost? Does Medifast charge according to the currency exchange rate?

I am a student and could comfortably afford Medifast as it is advertised ($10-$15 a day), but my roommate today mentioned that Medifast is a US company and the food might infact cost almost twice as much because of exchange rates...

Can my Canadian ladies (or gentlemen) shed some light on this??

I am not Canadian but before you order Medifast you may want to check out New Lifestyle I had been on Medifast since March 08 and I did lose a lot of weight. I have switched to Optifast to get the rest of my weight off. I found out that all the soy was not really good for me and I was starting to gag on the shakes after awhile, I couldn't mask the soy taste. http://www.newlifestylediet.com/docs...estigation.pdf

A lot of my friends that were doing MF switched to New Lifestyle (which is the same product as Nutrimed sold by doctors) and they love the food and plan better. The supplements taste much better than Medifast. New Lifestyle does ship free to Canada. Check the link below. Had I known about New Lifestyle before Medifast, I would have done New Lifestyle.
