Default Extra Calories!

Hi all!

I hope you're having a fantastic day

Anyway, I was busy busy busy all day and didn't get to eat as much as I usually do. I still ate every three hours, but because I didn't have time to prepare anything I mainly just ate my grab-n-go meals. I have about 500 calories left until I get to my suggested intake.

What do you all do in this case?

I need it because I did a strenuous workout, but I'm afraid its too close to bed, or I'll over do it. Ideas?

I am going to guess you are female, if you are at anything less than 1200 cals for the day, you need to get there, apple with PB, turkey slices, etc. If you are there, I think it is ok to bank the extra for tomorrow and have a higher calorie day of it you feel reaching the minimum is fine, so be it....

Well, maybe you've come up with a solution by now...

Anyway, it is better to get up to a minimum number of calories, even if you're eating late. 500 seems like too much right before bed or even an hour ahead. 200 would be better, and try not to have those be all carbs.

Of course, ideally you'll plan better in the future.

I try for 1500 everyday, so I just ate oatmeal to take me up to 1200 and figured I can go higher tomorrow when I go out to eat! So it worked out pretty well. Thanks for the help!
