What kills me is the parents who feel like, since they waited in line all that time, those kids are GOING to sit on Santa's lap, and they are going to get their damned picture! Poor little traumatized babies. That first picture is hysterical. Look at Santa's face.
Those are fantastic! Has anyone read David Sedaris' Santaland Diaries? They're his (extremely humorous) account of working as an Elf at Macy's during Christmas. He talks about how parents react to crying children--his depiction is so funny!
I love number 18 and number 28 (with the caption) is a riot!
We tell kids not to talk to strangers, and then we make them sit on the lap of the strangest of strangers, men at the mall dressed as santa, the easter bunny, "Barney," clowns...
If an adult in a crazy costume isn't a "stranger," then who the heck is?
