I just noticed it has been 28 years since John Lennon died. I remember it was bowling night, all my buddies and I were running up between frames to watch the news reports and of course Monday Night Football.

Which reminds me it was 20 years ago yesterday that my dad died...never forget that date...DEC. 7th......a big day in history

I was watching MNF and was sitting there in shock. One of the guys at work was on a business trip to NYC and was in a club when the news broke. He went back to his hotel, took out his guitar and sat there playing.
That was 6 months and 4 days after my DH, Linc, died.
I just heard Imagine the other day on the radio. It makes me sad. I was 5 years old at the time so I don't remember although I think my mom was probably devastated.
