Default i wish i took pictures, darn (now w pics)

ok, so a few months before i got serious about losing weight and getting fit, i bought a pair of pants on sale. they were cute on the rack and about 5$, so i thought maybe one day i can wear them. they were so tight, i could zip and button them, but they looked ridiculous with everything hanging over, i would never wear them in public. needless to say, i threw them in the closet and forgot they were there.

fast forward....

i see them in the closet yesterday, and i decide to try them on. and they fit. well, maybe a bit too well. they are even a bit baggy now.

what?!?!?!?

when did that happen. i could have cried.

ok here's some pics:

these are pants that i wore 2 months ago, that were really fitted. the slash pockets used to stick out a bit. now they are too baggy for my liking:

and these are the too tight pants that i never wore. please disregard the lame front pleating. what was i thinking. i still dont like them, even though they fit now. heh:

are they that baggy in the ***. what?!?!?! i could barely button them before. is this really happening???

and here is one embarrassing pic i found from when i graduated high school 9 years ago. that was my highest of about 185. ugh. sometimes i think i still look like that. oh yeah please disregard the hideous bleached hair. ew:

There is nothing better then trying on pants that either didn't fit or didn't fit in a manner that you could actually wear them, and they FIT! It makes all the sacrifice & hard work really seem worth something doesn't it? Congrats!!!!!!!

That is awesome. I have had that happen too. Sell them on ebay and get yourself a different pair in a smaller size!!!

That is such a good thing! How about taking a pic in a pair of jeans you could fit back then and post that. We will see the difference in those for sure and then take a pic of the pants that are too baggy now. I would like to see that too. No biggie! Keep up the good work!

oooooh that's a good idea. i mean i haven't made my goal size yet anyway, so then i could take another pic when i do with the pants and really see a difference.

no time like the present!!

thank you so much for all the support and kind words ladies, it means all the world to me. i wish you all the best as well.

Clothing is often a good gauge on how we are progressing on our weight loss journey. I think sometimes they are more accurate than the scales sometimes.

Great job it shows how far you have come since you started your weight loss journey

Thanks for sharing your photographs of your progression towards your goal. Talking of goal weight your knocking on the door of reaching that, keep up the good work and you will be there in no time

Wow! Way to go! I have a dress that is a few sizes too small (got if for free and to motivate me to fit into it by next christmas) and I can't wait to show that off! I also am taking pictures every month to see the difference if there is one. I can't believe I'm almost to my first month... like... a week and a half more. But good job, nonetheless! Nice tummy!
