Smile New to the forum!

Hi!

I am new to this forum! I decided to join because I am hoping to get support from people who understand!

I lost about 45 pounds using Weight Watchers a few years ago. But I gained it all back, plus 35. I am a grad student and spend most of my time in the library or in class, and all of that sitting (an snacking) caused me to gain so much weight. I am hoping to get back to where I was. So far I have lost 10 pounds...but I still have a ways to go!

I decided to start Lindora this week...are any of you familiar with it? How did it work for you?

Any advice, suggestions or kind words are appreciated!!!

Welcome Sparkle! You're in the right place for advice and support. I'm a grad student as well, so I totally understand where you're coming from with classes and things.

I've never heard of Lindora. Good luck on your weightloss journey!

I have no idea what Lindora is?

BUT, welcome to 3FC! If you've been able to take off that much weight before, I have complete faith in your ability to do it again! The forums here are an amazing support system, people are really fantastically helpful, and motivating.

When are you starting Lindora?

jelbb, i start november 1st. it is one of those low carb diets. hopefully it works.

I just joined 3FC also. Monday i started the ABS diet..so far so good. has anyone has any success on this diet? any advice would be great!

Amy - i have never tried that diet, but my friend did and had great success on it. She had the "Abs Diet for Women" book. She said the hardest thing woudl be on days when she didnt plan ahead b/c she had to eat so many times an dwas only allowed certain things. Here in Italy much of the social time centers around carb-loaded food, something she couldn't avoid. She did better when she planned ahead, but htats about all I know about it. She lost about 30 pounds mainly in the midsection.

Welcome!!

I just joined too, so we are newbies together. I've only been here a few days & I have already taken advantage of being here. I've gotten some good answers to some questions & some amazing support for the days that I haven't done great with my eating.

Hope we can all help you out & be there for you during your weight loss journey.
