I used to take vitamin B complex for some time, because my mum kept bugging me about it, she was convinced that it helped to keep your eating in check. After some time I thought "What the ****, it won't harm me, I'm just gonna try it." But it didn't feel like anything changed. I talked it over with my dietist and she said B vitamins can indeed work in this way. But you only get the trouble when you take too little of them, and then pills can help. If you have a decent eating pattern (which I do) you get enough B vitamins and the pills won't do anything additional on your will to eat. So I stopped them again.
