Default It's time for this Yo-Yo to BREAK!! I'm back and ready to go again

Soooooo.... I'm back!!!! Look a hiatus (and of COURSE it shows on the scale)

Actually, I'm down three pounds this week... but, that's after yo yo'ing up and down for weeks and weeks....

Started at 302.4 1/1/08... wanted to be 215 (-87 lbs) by this New Years... weighed in today at 271.6... down a total of 30.8

I have to keep telling myself that 30 pounds is GOOD... it's not what I wanted, but it's still WAY better than being 302.4 still!!!!

So new goal is to be 255 by New Years... that's 1.4 pounds per week... hopefully doable if I just stop this Binge- Diet -Binge-Diet cycle! ARGH! I was doing sooooo well before! (was down -47 at one point this year)

Thanks for letting me vent

Oh BrandNewJen, do I ever know how you feel!!!!

I started off at my highest of 311, went down to 279, then managed to go back up to 305 in about 9 months by the time I got control of myself again. Ugh, it's almost enough to just make me give up and become a shut in with the pizza number on speed dial!!!

I have been back on plan since the end of August, and have lost 15lbs so far (290). I've also incorporated formal exercise this time, and I'm hoping that will be the missing link for me.

If I let myself realize I'm still 11lbs MORE than this time last year, I get really depressed. I'm choosing to ignore that fact (most of the time) and move forward, trying to use it as yet another learning experience! I will sure be glad when I get down below that number though!!!!!

Best of luck to you, and I'm sure most of us on here have been there at some point or another!!! What doesn't kill us makes us stronger!!!

I do not think that there is one of us out there that hasn't fallen off the wagon at some point. The postive thing is you have dusted yourself off and hopped back on the wagon and recommitted yourself to a healthier lifestyle.

So chin up you can do this it is all part and parcel of the learning curve of living a healthier lifestyle.

Welcome back! What counts is that you are starting again and that is a good thing! (Sheesh, I sound like an excited Martha Stewart) There is nothing wrong with starting all over. At least you are making an attempt, are setting a goal, and are posting here once more.

We have all been in your shoes. Thank goodness life doesn't put a limit on how many times we are allowed back on the wagon, right?

Welcome back!

Jen I am so glad to see you back! Forget about the past few months and move on. I've been there too and back on plan since September and never felt better. We can do this!!

ETA I also regained 17 lbs before coming back. Just be glad you putting on the brakes now. 30 lbs is a great loss!

I'm so glad you're back. And I'm even happier that you've jumped back on the wagon.

Good job for not gaining back any additional weight. 30 lbs is an awesome accomplishment.

Wishing you much continued success!
