It's time again for the 3FC general weigh in thread. Everyone is welcome to join, just jump in whenever your official weigh in day rolls around. Good luck, everyone!
NOTE: They are shaking things up to work. We are going to a 36 hour, 4 day work week. I will be working 2nd shift instead of 3rd, and will have Fridays off. I don't know yet what that will do to the time I normal post these threads (about 9:30 PM on Thursdays), but it will probably to change to being posted sometime early Friday morning.
I *will* keep posting them, however. If someone starts one before me and I see it I won't post a duplicate, but I'm not exactly going to do a detailed search before I hit "submit", either. Hope this doesn't bother anyone!
Me: 184, same as last week. Not a gain, so I'm putting this in the "ok week" catagory. Not sure what my new hours will do to my new way of life, but I'm going to strive to stay as close to my current way of doing things as possible. But there might be a period of adjustment where I have a tough time. I know that will just be temporary, though, and not a huge setback.
I too am adjusting to work..I am going back after 2 years on disability. I am ranging from thrilled to terrified, sometimes in the same 30 seconds. I know how much mental effort as well as physical effort it takes for me to stick to my eating and working out regime...that worried me more than my job!
im a day late but im very happy, i have managed to loose 4lbs this week, but im happy also because i probably wont loose again for a while now, so im gonna revel in this feeling of success. YAAAAAAY
I am 176.6...Up almost 2 lbs from hitting my 1/3 mark. That is terribly frustrating since I haven't done anything differently. However, I am still down 2 lbs for the week and I know that I am retaining water so it could be more. It's frustrating but oh well. I look at my overall trend and it is CLEARLY down so...huzzah . And lots of NSVs this week.
I'm 186 today, down from 193 on August 20th (I have no idea how those first pounds came off so fast, but I'll take it as a motivator, while understanding that the rest of this journey won't be that easy ;-) )
I haven't decided yet what my first mini-goal should be... still thinking about it while focusing on changing the way I eat for life...
Down 2 pounds this week. I'm getting so close to that 100 pound mark, and the closer it gets the slower it seems to take...LOL (I know 2 pounds is terrific & healthy and all that jazz I was just hoping for a miracle )
My father-in-law has been very supportive. He told me that when I lose 100 pounds he'll give me $100. It's starting to chill down and I'm needing some new jeans very badly, so that 100 pounds can't happen soon enough.
I weighed in this morning at 215.5, that's half a pound more than Monday but one pound less than last Friday. I can't decide if it's just okay or a victory. Maybe I should start weighing in on Mondays.
Writermom - I would look at that as a victory! I found that I always weigh a little less on Saturdays for some reason, but my official weigh-in day has always been Friday - if I weigh tomorrow I'll be 1/2-1 pound less than today, I guarantee it. I used those numbers for a while, but went back to Fridays so I had a consistent pattern for the whole weight loss period (though I still track them both, just in different colors on my spreadsheet). You can always weigh Monday and see what you see then to compare? Good job either way!
I weighed in this morning at 127.1. It took me several tries of moving my scale to get it level and see what I thought were accurate numbers - it kept saying 126.5, 125.9, while I would like that, I know it isn't accurate... I'm going to try again over the next few days to see what it says then.
155, up 1 lb. from last Friday. It's a TOM gain, so while I'm not thrilled, I'm not beating myself up either. I won't change my ticker unless I'm still up next Friday.
I seem to lose weight on weekends, then spend the next week roller coasting up and down from it. In any case, I hit 285 last Sunday and again few times this week. Then PMS hit me upside the head. I'm sitting at 286.5 right now, which is still 2.5 pounds lighter than last Friday. If I count my non-TOM weight as 285, it means that I've lost about 10 pounds during August. Cool!!!!
