I remember my sophomore year of college, I was living in a dorm, with no real way to cook for myself, and I was eating a WHOLE lot of pizza and bread sticks. One day, I stepped on the scale and saw a dizzying 196 lbs. Having been physically active most of my life, and a pretty sporty girl, I knew I had gained about 50 lbs since the beginning of high school, and vowed never to reach 200 on the scale. Well, it has been quite a while, (I'm turning 25 this year), but I am down 20 lbs, a nice round number which brings be quite a way toward my final goal. I thought I would tell everyone that time, determination, and self-discipline can indeed get you somewhere, and I am looking forward to losing my last 26 lbs. Congrats!!

If you don't mind me asking, how long has it taken you to lose 20lbs and what was/is your exercise routine like? I'm looking to lose 20lbs by mid July but so far March has been horrible to me. I gained 4lbs in a week so I'm trying to find another approach.
