Default 2 fat chicks!!!

I went to my second support meeting tonight and like last time it was the counselor and I. It was nice. I had told her about this site and she couldn't remember for sure what it was and typed in two fat chicks and got into a porno site!! So she's going to try again.

She told me that about a year out she started craving salt and was eating ice like crazy. When she told the doctor they ran a blood test and she was iron deficient. I've heard of the ice eating and iron def, but not the salt so beware.

She gave me a paper of general information and it had a little comment about the Roadside Lemonade Nectar. "To cut the sweetness of the lemonade, use straight lemon juice as part of the liquid in the smoothie or drink. The tartness of the lemon really cuts the sweetness." The same with nonfat yogurt, "just use 1/4 to 1/2 scoop and it will give the yogurt just the right amount of sweetness." I saw SF Peeps tonight. We meet in a little supermarket called Buehlers and I'll be danged if it doesn't have Fage yogart!!! and it is only 35 minutes from my house.

I went to Goodwill and found two treasures. A scary $100.00 Amazing Amanda doll for $2.00 and a new National Geographic microscope. I've already got some fly wings and spider legs ready to go for the seven year old tomorrow to view. Oh, and one of my poor old fallen out gray hairs. A pair of dress black pants for $2.99 and a LandsEnd fleece for $2.99. WOOT! This is a huge Goodwill and I only got to cover 1/4 of the place. We are having major rain downpours and ran into blocked roads all the way home! Could possibly have up to 5 inches before this system leaves. YUCK!

One more thing. I made salmon tonight from a Giada knock off. A sheet of foil, sugar peas, tri-colored peppers with white wine, olive oil, salt and pepper and lemon juice. On top of that a piece of salmon with lemon zest and s&p. Wrap and cook in oven at 350 degrees for about 25 to 30 minutes because salmon still slightly frozen. DH said it was a keeper!

Funny!

Thanks for all the info, Nancy! Though all food sounds painful right now, the salmon dish sounds good! I will have to try it.

Thanks,

Angela
