Hello everyone,
I previously realized I have a problem with eating/overeating/undereating, whatever. I started reading posts in here and the tools for recovery, going to some online meeting etc.
This week after weeks of sticking to my exercise plan, I felt I was finally ready to make a food plan. I got supplies to help me keep organized (somehow organization/charts/coloured pens keeps me motivated). SO I made a daily plan (min # of veggies, Min # of protein servings, Min # of waters, eat breakfast every day, etc) and put that on my fridge in a big chart. I have to check off each time and put a red X if at the end of the day I didnt get to the goal or went over calories or whatever. I also got a wipeboard so that each evening I plan my food for the next day.
I can actually say that it is really helping me not to binge. It takes away the need to think/agonize about what food to eat. I just look at my menu and have that. If I really dont feel like it, I pick something equally healthy or switch lunch and dinner or something. it has made my life a lot easier though. it is tough when my plans change though and I've had some slip ups because of that but otherwise I'm dong well and at least when I do have a change of plans I still try to get my veggies and protein in etc and at least follow my plan in a basic way.
Just wanted to say that having a plan has helped me and I didnt realize it until I tried it. That's thanks to the many many posts on here. I probably never would have tried that without 3FC and OA
