On Tuesday, Jan 15th had started watching my calories. I am keeping my calories 2200. I am ready to change and work my darnest on efforts to stick with this. I have a large notebook and have an old picture of me at heavy..and titled "Courage2Change".
Good luck, Liliann! I'm sure you'll manage calorie counting wonderfully. It has worked great for me, and I'm continuing to lose at a steady rate (1 to 2 pounds a week). My food diary is a lifesaver. I stopped logging my food for a bit, and I stopped losing weight. Once you start keeping track of your calorie intake, you'll definitely start noticing a difference.
liliann
calorie counting works for me too.
i start exercising too, and it does help me tooo...kinda hard the first 3 days...
now is somenthing that i must do everyday....
i use fitday and daily plate and i highly recomand you both ...is so much easier to keep track of what you eat...
here at 3fc i find a lot of support, and i'm sure togheter we can do it...
good luck to you
Be strong. Stick to that plan of yours like GLUE. Like GLUE. I know how hard it is, especially in the beginning. But it does get much easier after a couple of weeks and I can't stress this enough - IT IS SOOOOO WORTH IT! The hard of staying on plan is nowhere near as hard as the hard of being morbidly obese. Keep that in mind. Self-talk is criticial. And you CAN do this. There's nothing to stop you. Go for it!!! And again - I wish you tons of good luck.

Liliann- Good Luck to you! You can do this! It's a great lifestyle change because you're eating the foods you like. Just keep within your calorie range, drink tons of water, and get your exercise in. I walk 30 mins a day. It's helping a bunch!!
It takes sooooooooooooooooo long to lose weight and it is so fast to gain it.
I wish I could simply go to sleep and wake up slim. But it takes so much patience and so much effort... In a way it's good that it takes effort, time and patience. It makes you learn a great lesson on the road. And things that we've learn with so much struggle should never be forgot.
I'm sorry if I'm a little depressing tonight, I'm a bit grumpy since I started this diet.
