Molly, I guess it went OK. They managed to separate us without too much meltdown.
He was in the eval room for about an hour with 3 young women who were "playing" with him. I was sitting outside the room, but within view, answering questions for another one. Then he happened to look out the window in the door and see me. He went back to what he was doing for about 2 minutes, then I heard him meltdown.
He was a blubbering mess, so they let him come out and see me. He's such a drama king, he came running over, got a hug, then just stood there next to me, with his hand on my leg. Didn't even need a cuddle, no more tears.
Crazy boy. Next up they will go visit him at his daycare in 2 wks. to test him more and observe him working with the Speech Therapist from E.I.
