Default I DID IT! first 5k!
Thank you all for your encouragement in my other post about being scared to do it! It was so much fun. If you are thinking about doing one, DO IT! I had my best personal time of 31:57! The first time I ever did a 5k outside was 45:00min! I tried hard not to cry at the finish line, but I did! I was so happy. I did it. Last year at this time, just doing daily activities was tiring. Now it is a whole new world for me. God has been so faithful. I think I am still "high" and it has been over for 2 1/2 hrs! I did get to see a lot of people that I went to school with and it was really cool seeing everyone! Thanks for listening. Jelly

Congratulations!!! That is a great time for a 5k! I'd be happy to do a 12 minute mile myself, but right now I'm pretty much just walking. You have earned some real bragging rights!!!

Congrats. Maybe I will sign up for this 5k I have been eyeing. I think I am the 45 min person hehe But it would be good to do one in a year and compare times!
