THIS, even if it doesn't seem "much", is a HUGE task to accomplish for most people... especially me.. (trying to avoid the italian bakery daily.. once in a while is good... everyday... not so good)

Ha! At it's root it is so simple. Hand away from mouth, people! But the reality is that we face temptations all day---cheap fast fat-laden choices---the fact that many of us use food for comfort or other psychological dependency---the knowledge that successful weight loss is bound by daily small choices as well as an over-arching turnabout of lifestyle---food and drink and movement choices.

So easy yet so complex.

Here's to sticking to your goal today!

elastigirly, Good for You for making a plan! It's always helpful to plan ahead so that you have things on hand.

Tell us more about your weight loss goals (start weight, etc.).

I don't see quite enough protein in your plan--and actually, it looks like perhaps not quite enough food, even though you're trying to lose. When you plan for tomorrow, try to put in more than fruit for breakfast. Add an egg, or some lowfat (2%) cottage cheese?

Good luck for today!

My goals:

- Walk in the morning if it's not raining.
- Stay with my maintenance program
- Exercise in the afternoon

Good morning, everyone. Here are my goals for today:

1. drink at least 2 1.5 liter bottles of water.
2. either ride the stationary bike for 20 minutes, or do a video for 25 minutes.
3. eat between 1400-1700 cals
4. put makeup on and "do my hair"

That's it!

Keep going, elastigirly, and you'll put together a nice string of days on plan!

My main goal today is,

- cut down on evening snacking

I do allow a snack in the evening but it seems to be getting out of hand.

Hey!

I changed the title of this thread slightly hoping others would join in! Also, let's start a new thread every week--what do you think, elastigirly?

My daily goals:

- Stay within calories. Yesterday I went over.
- Walking in the morning, exercise in afternoon
- 8 glasses of water (have been getting lax)

Food combining is very interesting! I did that awhile back, and it did help my digestion. I wasn't trying to lose weight, though, as my main reason.
