Question Have you tried Lean Cuisine?

I am not a big fan of to many frozen foods, but I found the Lean Cuisine Brick Oven Style Roasted Garlic Chicken Pizza. It is absolutey wonderful. It taste just like the California Pizza Kitchen Roasted Garlic Chicken if you have tried that. If your on WW it is only 7 points and very filling. I also bought the three cheese I believe it is, but haven't tried it yet.

I think this will be my favorite find yet. It truly is the best to me.

Has anyone tried their paninis?

If I'm in a hurry, I'll grab a lean cuisine or smart ones. I've had one of the paninis, I don't remember what kind, but it was pretty good. WhatI really love is their brick oven mushroom pizza....yummmmm! Have you ever tried smart ones? I recommend the baked ziti.

Bridgette.

Mmmmm, butternut squash ravioli, I just had that for lunch today. I also like the cabbage roll, the veggie eggroll and the ones with salmon and pasta.

These are my favorites, too. That butternut squash ravioli is fantastic.

But, sadly, I must report that I bought one of those brick oven pizzas - and I took one bite and tossed the whole thing out.

I often eat LC for lunch. If i'm starving I'll even have two, pairing a lower calorie one with one other. It adds up to 400 or 500 calories, but I'm better off eating enough than ruining my diet because I was too hungry to resist other temptations.

Talking Paninis!

Hey Daph! I love love lean cuisine! IT saves me from when my hubb wants a big manly meal. I love the paninis. My fave is the chicken club. They are sort of small, but pair it with a salad or your fave 0 point veggie and your good to go!

I love the brick oven style pizzas too...Especially the mushroom. If I am feeling a real pizza craving, I just toss on four pepproni's after I microwave it, and cook it 30 more seconds.

I'm glad I saw this thread. We have "Bend 'n Dent" store in Branson, MO that we go to when we go to see my parents (we live in Tulsa). We went there yesterday and they had a TON of Lean Cuisine dinners there. The expiration dates were all in 2008 (some in 2009) and they were $1.59 each...so I stocked up because I knew they were "healthy portions" and would be good for my WW points but have never tried a LC meal before! I haven't tried any of them yet, but seeing this post here has given me hope that I'll like them.

I love those pizzas! The Mushroom one is my favorite. I was at Target last night and they had the French Bread Cheese ones for .98, so I bought 5 of them. I eat LC a lot when the kids have pizza or they want something that I'm not willing to spend the points to eat. The Panninis are great too!

In my opinion Lean Cuisine is much better than all the rest of the "diet" frozen meals. My favorites:

Chicken In Peanut Sauce
Chicken Club Panini
Potatoes and Broccoli with Cheese Sauce
Grilled Chicken Caesar Bowl
Hunan Stirfry With Beef

I am LOVING the steak and mushroom paninis!

But I did want to say about those brick oven pizzas, the box says to WAY overcook them, I think they're nice if you microwave them a little more than HALF what the box says. Maybe that'll help someone? Overcooking shrivels up the toppings and makes the crust too hard and chewy.

I stick to the lc spa dinners.. and of course pizzas! my fav is the creamy seafood lc spa and the spinach and cheese pizza. I limit how much I have of these though because of the sodium... it adds up too quickly with my diet.
