Default Jeans for Girls who have hips

Hey
I'm somewhere between an 8 and a 10 and I have no idea what jeans to buy certainly not LEvi's 515's I could get those up my legs but they stopped at my tummy/hip region

Does anyoen know of a good normal rise jeans that accomodates hips?
Thanks,
Kier

I actually wear men's jeans..women's jeans are so wierd with the different rises and for some reason women's jeans are styled so tight! try on some men's jeans..you may like them.

Urgh...I hate buying jeans. I have runners thighs and calves coupled with a healthy "pear" of hips makes finding a good fit an absolute nightmare.

This skinny leg obsession means anything that will fit my waist will NOT go over my legs so anything that I get to fit my legs gaps widely around my waist. Can't win!

It's been a few years since I've worn size 8 & 10 but when I did I always had to buy jeans that fit my hips/butt and then have them tailored to fit my waist.

The problem with men's jeans is that I'm 5'2 on a tall day I don't want low rise I just want somethign that will hit my waist and make it over the Band o fat at my hips
it sucks when i wore plus sizes I knew exactly what to wear and now I'm lost!

I've realized that if jeans are going to have enough give to get over my hips there is no way that they are going to fit me in the waist. I'm stuck wearing belts for life.

I don't know if you have this store around you but try Maurices if you do. I have the same problem and I went there and I vowed to never go anywhere else. Their jeans are amazing. They have one pair that I practically live in, they are called the Haley Wide leg. They fit great in the hips and the leg is a little wider but they look wonderful. Try them on though b/c that style runs big. The rest are true to fit (i have other pairs of their jeans too that are just as great I just like these the best lol)

I have pretty big hips and I love love LOVE GAP 1969 Essential jeans in the dark wash. They're the first jeans I've ever had that have fit me really well, and they do have above a 12/14 online! I usually have to wear a 16 to accomodate my hips/thighs but wear a 14 in these because they fit so well!

It's been so long since I tried to wear jeans.
But I remember that Lee jeans worked for me, when I was about a size 6 waist and a size 12 butt.

YES!!!

I just discovered them last week and went to the outlet and bought 2 more pairs. SO worth the money. I will always have issues with my hips (more so now, actually). They are FINALLY not so low I have instant muffin top and not high waisted like my mom wears, either. They are absolutely perfect. I think I actually wore them 4 out of 5 days last week, which is why I had to go buy more.

Are you talking MEN'S 1969'?

I wear mens jeans too sometimes but have gottten a little back into women's jeans I bought a one of the new styles of Lee jeans for not a lot of money. I must add that I HATE stretch in the jeans today. I get the size that fits in the store and they bag out by the end of the day! (wich is why I will go back to men's jeans

I love the new Gap Essentials jeans. I got my first pair about a week ago{had to go to 2 different stores to find my size 4, that never happened when I wore a 14/16}. I have no hips though. I also have no waist whatsoever. I'm a stick now! The first thing that left was my butt and hips but I can't seem to narrow my waist at all.{I do crunches and different ab exercises but nothing seems to help}At least my rolls are gone. I just wish you could find a pair of jeans that don't stretch, for women that is. I found a pair of American eagle jeans at the goodwill that don't contain spandex and they are my second in line to my Gap jeans. I need to invest in another pair since these 2 are really getting some use.

They aren't men's, actually -- I used to buy ONLY men's jeans because my inseam is so long, but these ones work. They're in the 1969 women's collection.
