I fell on my a** yesterday. I was doing some stretching before playing golf with my husband and some friends, and my foot started to slip. I grabbed the seat handle on the golfcart only to find that the seat stayed where it was mostly out of habit and not from being attached. So now I'm falling even faster with a huge plastic seat coming down on top of me. Total damage was a big hunk out of my knee, a scraped up elbow and a big grease stain on the front of my BRAND NEW white shirt.
So what's the NSV, you're asking yourself? I jumped right back up. Nobody had to give me a hand, nobody had that "uh-oh, the fat chick fell down and I'm probably going to kill my back trying to help her up" look. I was embarassed but only to the extent that most people are when they fall over; there was no added fat embarassment.
So my elbow doesn't quite bend the way it should today but I actually feel pretty good about the whole thing.
