Talking Finally found an accurate scale!

I just thought I’d mention this to anyone searching for an accurate scale. (I’m a little excited, if you couldn’t tell). I started with a digital Health O Meter I had for several years that started acting up (guess it wasn’t used to being used!) It was sometimes somewhat consistent, but many times all over the place for both me and my husband, so I picked up a $20 scale at Target with a weight limit of 330 lbs, and I somehow managed to break it at around 300 lbs! I took that back (can’t recall the brand) and about a week and a half ago went to Costco and purchased that Weight Watchers Conair scale for $29.99. I just can’t believe how accurate it has been for both me and my husband. It goes up to 400 lbs and weighs to the 10th of a pound. You can get on it 3 times in a row and it will display the exact same weight each time, to the 10th. And if you’re bored enough, it can be fun to remove an article of clothing and watch the number go down. (It can also store like 5 peoples' weights, but I haven't used that feature because NO one else needs to see my number!)

Anyway, just wanted to share my new find for anyone in the market for a more accurate scale.

I have a WW scale, it's far too accurate. My old was was weighing to light by 20lbs, but I much preferred that number.

I don't store my weight either. I'm not ready to share that yet.

Thanks! I could use a new scale, mine is working okay *I think*, but I can't help but think it may be a bit off. Besides its old, and I have a feeling its gonna break anytime now.

I also have a WW scale and love it. It's really, really accurate.

I'm very happy to hear about this! I really want digital scales. I have some with the little arrow that moves around, and if I shift my weight around, they can raise or lower 20 pounds. Insane.

I'm going to have to check this out. My current scale..I constantly second guess it. Like I did for yesterdays weigh in and find myself getting on it off and on to see if it was right or not. I don't really want to get into the habit of weighing myself everyday! So I'm gonna look at ebay right now for it

I have that exact same scale and I do love it. It is very consistent and the best part is it was reasonably priced.

I picked mine up earlier for $25 at Wal-Mart and I love love love it! I get off and back on just to see the same result! Yay!

As I posted in the support forum, though, I learned that my old scale was weighing me almost 20 pounds less. I guess I figured it was wrong and I'm just glad to know what I really do weigh.

Also, my mom went to the doctor today, and she tried out the new scale tonight and got the same number as she did at the doctor! Awesome.

Thanks so much for posting your review!

One thing I did when I didn't have the money for a new scale: Take a hand weight (3 lb, 5 lb - whatever) or anything that is a definite set weight (canned good, new sack of flour or sugar) and put that on the scale. If it has your pre-weighed item at the proper weight then you will be too! I did this to my analog scale (with a weight) each and every time I used it because we all know how those things jump around! LOL! Just a thought for those who want to be sure about the number on the scale but don't want to run out and buy a new scale right now.
