Default weight loss retreat

I am thinking about going for two weeks to a weight loss retreat or spa. I need the break from life to focus on myself, my health, fitness and diet(nutricinally) There seems to be so many out there with various plans and costs. I am looking for reccommendations or surgestions. This is a huge investment in myself and i what it to be a positive change in my life not people trying to make me take that suff from urine that the Trudeau book goes on about. Please help

I don't have any recommendations, unfortunately, but just wanted to offer support! You should go for it! A fun, healthy change of scenery is so important. I have heard that Canyon Ranch in Arizona is amazing but have never had the good fortune to go there myself!

Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Hi Sgray-
I've heard of Canyon Ranch-it's appears to be very luxurious and it is in a very scenic location in Tucson. But, just a word of caution if you plan on coming anytime soon-this is a NASTY hot state!! Heck-you lose weight just by going outside!!!!!!
Good luck in your hunt and take that well deserved break!!

That sounds incredible. I think the most important thing will be to make sure that you don't end up in a fad diet place, but somewhere where everyone is focused on using the program to kick start long term, healthy changes. Ask for brochures, then maybe google the names plus "reviews" to see what others have said. Have fun!
