Red face Quick question...

Hi guys! I tried searching the forum for the answer, but couldn't find it, so sorry if this question has already been asked.....I'm assuming that Wishbone's Spray Salad Dressing is OK for Phase 1? It's got 1 gram of sugar per serving which I realize is OK, but just didn't know if there was some reason we can't use it.

Thanks!

Yes, that would work...but here is one better and it really tastes the same.

I take a 1 teaspoon or 2 of olive oil and mix it with vinegar [whatever one you like] and I add salt, pepper and italian seasonings.

I put my salad in a glad container and shake it all up. It really helps with bathroom issues that you WILL have in the next couple of days.

Hi bellaluna,

You could use the spray, but you might want to really watch the high fructose corn syrup. I've found that eliminating the HFCS results in some pretty awesome scale and inches victories for me. Sunny's recipe sounds like a great alternative.

Glitter Girl,
Don't panic The bathroom issue is constipation. Get lot's of fiber. The olive oil helps get things movin' and groovin'

Thanks, guys...the high fructose corn syrup is exactly what I was concerned about (thank you Dr. Oz )

Since I've got a brand-new bottle of it, I'll use it sparingly. Thanks again for your help.

glittergirl - you might want to use Sugar-Free Metamucil before meals for now.

SB,
Gee thanks!! I was scared. I will take some extra fiber. I have been doing the olive oil and balsamic vineagar. I made it up and it sat overnight and it wasn't too bad.

Congrats on your 36 lb loss!! That is awesome. I am having a hard time with the veggie in the am. I am not a veggie person as it is and have to force myself. I can't do the v-8.. maybe I will try it again...yuck!

glittergirl - It may take a week or so to get used to the V8. At first, I thought "No way! I can't drink this stuff!" I switched to the light sodium kind and I drink it with a straw. Now, I drink it without much thought. Its like brushing my teeth...I know I need to, so I just do!

Girlygirl, thanks... I will try it tomorrow with a straw.

Another question if you don't mind. How much dairy are you allowed a day, my old book says none. Also, nuts just 1x a day? Thanks for all of your help!

Glitter, the book list is outdated. Use the Phase I Food List in our FAQ. Yes, only one serving of nuts per day.
