Ugh, I just realized that the salad mix I have been eating all week has shredded carrots in it, not a lot, but still there. Is that going to be a huge problem? I have still lost 4 pounds since Monday....so obviously it hasn't caused too many problems...just thought I would ask how big of a deal that is.

I eat the salad mix with the carrots in it as well and I've lost 5 lbs. I don't think it's enough of a big deal to pull every little piece out. If they were chunks of carrots I would. I just open the bag and shake it up a little so that most of the carrots fall to the bottom. Great job on the 4 lbs!!
On South Beach, we are not supposed to have carrots until Phase II. They are great food but slightly higher in sugar than the other veggies allowed in Phase I.
