I want to thank those of you that have stuck around for this challenge. We are coming into the final weeks and I can not say that it doesn't hurt to see all of the original players leave. I understand life happens and there are more important issues to address than losing weight. We started out with two large teams of 41 and now we are falling under 20.

I ask that if you do plan on leaving the challenge that you make it know to your team leader prior to the next week's weigh in. The both of us need to pick people to sit out before the day the results are posted and it helps if we get a notice before hand.

The Blue Team lost 2 people this week and the Red Team lost 4. Let's all try to stick together through the end of this! I'd like to think if I did this again after this challenge ends that people will want to participate til the end!

I would like to say congrats to the members of both the Red and Blue Teams who have stuck it out. Everyone sticking it out is a winner in my book. I understand life comes in the way from time to time and there are some good reasons some have quit....hospitalizations, pregnacies, sick kids, etc. I truly can't believe that is the case for everyone. Please if you are going to drop out...take a moment to pm your team leader. It would be so helpful to know ahead of time. That having been said:

babygrant, you were selected to sit out this past week. At this point I need to select 2 to sit out this week. I think what we may do is make the selections now but not mention them unless it is needed for someone to sit out. This way everyone will work as hard as they normally would. I also don't think it is right for the same person to sit out 2 weeks in a row. I will give Michelle a list of 3 (just incase we need them).

707goddess, we lost CurveyKris, dancediva33, katallan and kedkaidman. At this point the Blue team has 2 more members then the Red Team. But that is subject to change should someone else drop out.

That's a whole person, and 3 or 4 of some people! It's 5 Australian Shepherds and a 2 month old puppy, or 21 Super Pogo 1505 Pogo Sticks, or 66 Weight Watchers WW60X Weight Tracking Scales, or 73 copies of the 75th Anniversary edition of the Joy of Cooking, OR....426 boxes of Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies!!!

Guess what? Exercise works. Don't you just hate that? It's such a good news, bad news thing.

I came up with the stats from Amazon.com, where I do all my shopping research (I love the reviews, don't you?).

If it wasn't for this challenge, I can almost make a bet I would win that I would have gained instead of lost even my few pounds over the last couple of months. I'm so grateful to be here!
