Default I have a Question regarding dieter's tea

I have it about 3-4 times a week and when I'm on it I feel like it works great to empty out my system, but when I'm off it sometimes I can go a whole day without using the bathroom(except to pee). Is that normal? or is my body getting too accustomed to using the tea? I'm afraid If I go off it I will be even harder for my body to digest food, is that possible?

I switch on and off between these two teas:

(sorry If this has been discussed before but I did a search and couldn't find anything.)

I tried dieter's tea once and it gave me cramps so bad that I never tried it again...

The reason you are not going to the bathroom after you have "cleaned out" for a day or so is because you are "cleaned out" there isn't anything to get rid of, it can take your system a day or two to fill up so to speak, to get ready to go to the bathroom again ... I take psyllium husk to keep things flowing smoothly, I like it much better...

That makes sense but I have a feeling it may not be that because sometimes its not just one day after. I feel like my metabolism has really slowed down. But I guess it could be something else.

Yeah the cramps are horrible. I might switch to psyllium husk if I can find where to buy it.

I sometimes find my psyllium at the grocery store in the healthfood section or in a bulk store. You can try All Bran Bud with Psyllium too that's what hubby eats, I don't eat it because I find there is too much sugar in the Bran Buds. I just add the psyllium to my oatmeal in the morning, I also take it at night before bed just in water and gulp it down. If you let psyllium absorb the water you can eat it with a spoon, I add Splenda to it for a sweeter taste... Start with only 1 teaspoon morning and night and work yourself up to 1 tablespoon... Drink a LOT of water afterwards and during the day...

The laxative in herbal diet teas are usually senna, which are pretty harsh. I don't recommend them. It does sound like you are making your body depend on them. Herbal laxative teas, and regular laxatives, such as Correctol, Ex-lax, etc. are for occasional use ONLY-not multiple days a week.

Are you on a calorie controlled diet? If so, it is pretty common not to "go" every day. If you are taking in less food overall...you have less "waste". Every other day, as long as it isn't painful like you are constipated-is perfectly fine. And-if you drink plenty of water, eat enough fruits, veggies, and whole grains in your diet-taking fiber supplements isn't necessary, either.

Your metabolism cannot "slow down" from drinking this tea...nor does the tea speed it up. You just don't go as often when you eat less...and if you drink the teas...you are literally "cleaned out" and it takes a day or two to go again.
