Default Whole Foods Menu 12/18

I made it through a party weekend. I made the best choices possible and now it's time to get healthy again. I will say, I'm actuallly ready to eat something healthy, or at least something I'm used to.

B-greek omelet (made with omega 3 eggs, spinach, onion, feta)
S-apple, string cheese (I'm trying to add a snack but I won't eat it if I'm not hungry, depends on how my errands go and dd's patience)
L-chicken and vegetable curry,brown rice
S-strawberries, yogurt, honey
D-salad, eggplant w/tomato sauce(garlic, evoo) and sprinkle of parmesan, squash
S-2 not whole full of butter shortbreads, tea

I think that's 11 superfoods or sidekicks I think. I need to keep better count.

Hi Joy of Six,

It wasn't a very WholeFoods day for me. Runnin around like crazy as we're leaving early Weds for eight days so need to have holiday stuff done, cards sent, gifts bought & wrapped, laundry done, pack, etc. Shouldn't complain we're going to Mexico but all that it takes to get the heck outta here...Ughhh.

B: Shredded wheat, nf milk, wheat germ, blackberries

S: crackers w/fig spread, walnuts

L: veggie soy corn dog, ketchup, tater tots (I was making for kids & looked so good, so I measured out 9 for my own lunch), apple

S: hard boiled egg, a few blueberries, square dark chocolate

D: (on the run) cheese, crackers, fig spread, pineapple

S: 8oz soy smoothie to get some more superfoods in

Hi All,

I am familiar with superfoods from what I've read on the internet and have tried to incorporate in my diet/lifestyle since September. I should re-read the thread about the sidekicks etc Maybe you all can tell me what you think about this:

B - scrambled eggs (2) - not Omega 3, only freerange
spinach approx 2 oz
mushrooms
zucchini

L - pasta (not ww) with surimi (crab)
spinich approx 4oz
tomato (1)
alfalfa
balsamico and bit of mayo

D - grilled salmon (approx 4oz)
EVOO
salt, pepper, garlic
steamed asperagas
brown rice

I got a kefir kit recently to make my own kefir since it's sort of hard to get here. I find it really helps my stomach (been having issues with reflux and acid for about 18mos) and I actually like the taste. I have also been using soy milk and yoghurt and Lactose Free milk as well.
