Default Was the site updated this week?

I noticed that the Posting/Replying sections of the site have changed dramatically in the last day or two. Is there a way to opt-out of this or revert back to the old style? This new format makes it very difficult to do the more customizable BBCode editing that we used to have without typing it all in manually. If there are any admins present, please let me know! Thank you in advance!

Hi Ophelia,

Thanks for reaching out. We did indeed have a short-notice update on Wednesday. As far as having difficulty with BBCode, are you referring to the text editor? What specifically were you trying to do with BBCode? I may be able to help (or it may be a bug, in which case I'll have our tech team fix it).

I usually use different colors to denote different things on my tracking threads, and this happened today (including a screenshot below) when I pressed submit, even though the new posting window didn't even show any of the old BBcode to begin with. Now, to fix all of that corrupted/reformatted code, I will have to go in on each individual line where I've been tracking all month to and retype the correct code manually, it seems. (The drop-down options for highlighting each line have been greatly reduced, so typing them seemed to be the only option before this new issue happened today.) Right now, I'm just leaving the post like that because that's an undertaking I don't have time for at the moment. Is there any way to individually go back to a version of the site before the update? I don't want to be a "squeaky wheel", so to speak, but I know a few others have stated that they are not very keen on the new version either, so I am also double-checking for others who have had a similar opinion in my threads. Thank you for your time and for going over this with us!

Hmm... Could you provide me a link to a post where this is happening? I might be able to have tech fix the formatting. Unfortunately, there's no way to go back, since the site was updated in an attempt to avoid an error that could crash it.

Thank you. I've asked tech to take a look at this, especially considering your next post appears to contain correct formatting.
