CyndiM ~ maybe the ad being on the last post is the result of the modification that Paul said he would ask for. Because when it first started happening, it was on more than just the last post ~ they seemed to be randomly on several posts through out a thread.
It seems now to be on the last post of each page of a thread. That is tolerable ~ better than how it started out. Thank you Paul.
flower123 ~ I agree with what you said: if they have to use ads to pay for the site then I understand. Because I cannot afford to pay. I am grateful to have this community. Even if there have to be ads. AND I really like VBulletin. Its so easy to use.

Yea, it does look better. This site did once have a no ad option for a very nominal fee. I would love to see that option be offered again for those who want it. I liked it.

I agree Gayle and Sage it is better now. On Thursday there were five on the page an they seemed to move. Now there are four. I think it wouldn't be so bad if it weren't in the middle of the page. I've gotten use to the ones on the right and the top. Sage I didn't know we ever had an option to pay a fee to be ad free.

I wondered why I was suddenly seeing ads! Just out of interest, do we all see the same ad? I'm currently seeing in flower123's post one for Travelon handbags from amazon. I have indeed been looking at them. Is that what everyone else sees too? And does that mean that if I search for rubber bondage gear, you'd all see that too? (I wouldn't, btw.... )

LOL Rosinante, nope I keep seeing Jenny Craig, it's a banner at the top, two to the right and one in your post (because it's the last post). However I haven't looked up Jenny Craig in awhile so I'm not sure why that's all I see. I'd love to see something else since there are four they should all be different, just my opinion.

Most sites have affiliates. I get it. It is a little distracting having one on the last post, but I understand the reasoning. If people see it, they are more likely to click on it. A lot of people don't even bother to pay attention to the top or side banners anymore because we are so conditioned to it.
