Help! I'm not a very technical person and am having trouble with my photo. It's showing up under my profile, but I don't know how to get it to show??

Do you mean you want it as an avatar? In place of the pretty design? I'm afraid your profile picture is too big to fit and still be readable. Avatars have a size limit.
