What is the minimum amount of posts required to have a signature? - 3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

Well I'm looking at my Edit Profile piece right now and I can't add a signature or one of those little scales a lot of people have at the bottom of their post. Then I looked at the notice and it said "New users don't have access to signatures due to a recent forum spamming problem. You can have access in 20 days if you have the minimum amount of posts." What is the minimum amount of posts? I'd like to know! Or if I got the wrong idea how do I add one of those little scales at the end of the post?
Like:

20 lbs lost! 40 pounds to go!

You know, right?

The minimum amount of posts is twenty posts in twenty days.

First of all Welcome to 3FC. You have to have 20+ posts and have been here over 20 days to add ticker or link to your profile. We have had the ticker and links abused by spammers in the past.

You can add an avatar below your name though.

Can it take longer than 20 days i signed up at around the 27th June and have exceeded 20 posts but still nothing!

I think mine took 21 days from my first post. Carrie your first post was 06-30-2011, 12:34 PM so you are close either way.

It takes 20 full 24 hour periods. So if you joined on 7/1 at 10:30pm, your ticker would show up within a few hours of 7/21 at 10:30pm. Carrieanne, yours will be available on schedule, sometime after 12:34 today.

I'm getting really impatient! haha. I've been using the boards quite actively since I came here 14 days ago - but I have to wait FOREVER to get a ticker.

Ofcourse, I'm the over-active impatient type of person when it comes to these kinda things, so I'll get over myself! Sucks that you had spammers. But 20 days is a LONG time in philanaland!

I felt like that too got mine today woohoo. It keeps you foccussed tho and makes you feel like you have got something for been part of it for the 20days.
