ticker?
 

I'm a newbie and one of the reasons I joined this site and discovered it was a signature in the forums of another site... It had a little scale of weight and your goal. I think it's called a ticker? How do I get one of those?

Signatures are restricted for 30 days / 30 posts due to a massive problem with spammers that sign up and abuse the signature feature. So we had to restrict it.


But time flies and we hope you'll stick around :)

Just checking to see how many post I have so far.... still no ticker

It's not only the number of posts, it's also being registered a month. You can keep bashing out posts but can't speed up Father Time.

I knew I'd get the answer somewhere, great to hear from you Ruth and Suzanne. I thought it was just me not being able to figure out the system......whew....Now.....I have another question. I tried using the basic exercise calories and food calories portion of the program and I couldn't find the exercise I do, or alot of the foods I eat. Is it a good idea to upgrade to the pay for journalling etc program? Right now I am paying 19 per month for this service elsewhere. If it's $30 for a year and it's any good, I'd just as soon change over.

Anyway....on I go journal searching.

Hi :) I'm not aware of the service you are asking about, so I can't provide an opinion. If it suits your needs, then $30 per year sounds like a good price. Personally, I use FitDay PC to track my food and fitness. I don't use the one online, but the one you download and install to your own computer. It's a flat fee of 29.95 for a lifetime license. I love it :)

Same here I was drawn to this site because I saw the ticker and Now joined here So I can have a ticker and I post in the Miscellaneous Clubs for Herbal Magic and I have found another Friend there to buddy up with... SO Waiting my time out too.

Testing out my ticker too! Is the 30 days a must as i've not been here 30 days but i have 30 posts? Still, i want to keep the lovely tickers!

I wanted to ask if I get my ticker? I joined 3 chicks last year, fell off, and now I'm back. Do I have to wait the full 30 days after rejoining? Thanks so much!

If the option is not in your UserCP to use the signatures, then you should see it soon after your 30th post.
