I once rewarded myself like fatbat did with a trip to the salon. What made it REALLY work is my hair looked terrible but I wouldn't go until "reward time." To be sure, I was dedicated. :)

Okay, so I went to get the piercing and the guy said that I have an Inny and that he was afraid to pierce it cause it might get infected. HURT MY FEELINGS!!! Now I have to find some other reward!

That sucks! Why don't you get a second opinion from another place? Or you could get a clip on or belly jewel. I know a few bellydancers who wear these just for performances.

My brother also has a serious Inny and he has a belly ring. When I go to home to visit, I will go see the person that did his instead.

they wouldn't pierce because you have an inny???? that's weird. my tattoo/piercing guy will pierce damn near anything. i'd go talk to someone else. it will only get infected if you don't take care of it. i have my septum pierced and it didn't get infected and i think if there's anywhere to get infected it would be the middle of your nose.

I did what you said Knitten and guess what? I got a cute little hoop in my belly!!!!

No way am I putting my stretch mark ribboned, two-baby stretched out tummy on-line. This site would get an automatic INDECENCY rating if I did. :devil: Oddly enough, when I went to get it done, two young girls asked if they could come in and watch and were offended when I told them no.

I want to get a daith piercing (one of those lumps inside the ear). I went a month or so but wasn't too impressed with the piercer and left without having it done. I'm going to do it once I get down to 175. Yay! That's something to look forward to. And not too easy to achieve either. Which is good, because it'll be my last piercing! I'd hate to see what I'd look like if I got a piercing for every 10 pounds I have to lose. Or would I? I'll be pondering this for the rest of the day. :lol:

I think I'm going to reward myself with a new computer for the attic when I get FIRMLY below 200. :yes: My old one up there is only used for writing, but it's losin' it.

Okay, when I get to the 140's its INK TIME!!!! I am at 152 and have been burning up the track so hopefully by Father's Day weekend (kids will be gone) I will be there.

I'm torn between a cute elephant and the Venus symbol. Most of the elephants I have seen so far are too fat (yes, I know that sounds dumb). I did see one that was "sleeker" so I will have to take the pic to the tattoist and see what he can do with it.

I'm too ADD to get a tattoo. I just worry that's I'd get tired of it too fast. But I always thought about getting a phoenix in ink - like that Ani Difranco song, 32 flavors:
