3 Hours Bowling

187 169 133 (I went downhill fast!! )

chervata 05-13-2004 09:21 AM

Hey, I haven't gone bowling in a long while! That sounds fun. My 17 yr old son likes to--maybe he will go with me.

Did Cathe Friedrich's Bootcamp workout. :workout:

Teufelchen 05-13-2004 12:40 PM

First the exercise for Wednesday - walked 25 minutes

-------------
Pookie - Teufelchen is German. It means little devil. Hence the little devil as my signature and my avatar. Teufel is devil and chen is a diminutive and can be used as an endearment in that form. And yes, I speak German. :dizzy:

------------

Have you guys ever "Rock(ed) and Bowl". It's a blast with all the music and disco lights. :dancer:

Tuesday, May 12, 2004: rest (migraine)
Wednesday, May 13, 2004: walking all over Portland, about 5 hours, looking for something to wear to the opera on Saturday. My favorite formal skirt fell off when I tried to put it on!

SeekInnerThinChick 05-13-2004 10:06 PM

Oh dear, another outbreak of my chronic foot in mouth disorder. :foot:
Thursday, May 13, 2004: Another 3 hours walking around the mall trying to find something to wear. Clothes shopping doesn't get any easier just because you are smaller.

BTW, I had one of the new Subway spinach salads with chicken at the mall. Pretty good, I thought-- I had them put brown mustard and red wine vinegar on it as a dressing, they thought I was nuts but it's tasty. :)

Teufelchen 05-14-2004 12:35 PM

Thursday - walked 30 minutes and belly danced 60 mins.

blugirrl1 05-14-2004 01:20 PM

Seek, sounds pretty yummy to me. :)
4 miles WATP today. gotta keep moving....

hannah_phi 05-14-2004 02:04 PM

Biked 45 minutes yesterday!

hannah_phi 05-14-2004 02:07 PM

Seek: Subway always thinks I'm nuts because I get a veggie sandwich and I have them put half the veggies on, microwave, then put on the lettuce and tomatoes.

Hmmph! I always get a weird look from the staff when I tell them that I don't want cheese on my sub...what is the big deal about no cheese?

For all they know I could be lactose intolerant!

1 1/2 hours of walking on Wednesday

1 hour walking on Thursday - wasn't feeling that well that day so I did not go to dance class :nono: Darned sinusus!

Friday 30 minutes of walkin so far and I am planning on going for a walk with DH tonight after supper. :)

SeekInnerThinChick 05-14-2004 09:44 PM

Friday, May 14, 2004: 45 minutes treadmill, 30 minutes elliptical

You know I've always liked Subway-- at least the food is recognizable. Hello, tomato, hello bread, howdy, chicken... I mean if you can't even name the food, how can you eat it?

Noodles913 05-15-2004 08:53 AM

Friday:

Noodles913 05-16-2004 01:54 AM

hannah_phi 05-16-2004 11:55 PM

Cycled 1 hour and 36 minutes today (Sunday)! I feel great! :D

Noodles913 05-17-2004 04:04 AM

Saturday 5-16-04

Cleaned the house for 5 hours. This constitutes vacuuming, doing 10 loads of wash, dusting, sweeping, killing a roach, washing the patio down, washing the windows, organizing the office, cleaning 1 fish tank and prepping another for new fish, loading 3 loads of dishwasher dishes, cleaning sinks, toilets, etc..., cleaning out the air filter hole and replacing old filter with new filter, making the bed, watering all plants, & taking out the trash. I probably forgot something in here but you get my drift.

POOKIE88 05-17-2004 01:55 PM

Jiffy Pop gave me the news

I found out from Jiffy Pop on my 3FC Home Forum that this is the official

Get Moving America Week May 17--23

OK Jiffy in honor of Get Moving America Week - I climbed on my Gazelle.

The last couple of days (& today) Tony Little is on the Home Shopping Network(HSN) and he has been reminding me again about all the good points about the Gazelle. I was starting to get a bit bored with it and not sure if it was helping me that much with the actual weight loss. But after seeing Tony Little jump around and yell about getting your booty moving I will keep it up. They also had some pretty impressive success stories about the Gazelle as well. Besides I really don't have a choice anyway 'cause that is the only machine I have here so it's Gazelle or nothing at all.

1st session today 33 mins:33 seconds
2nd was a mini session 11 minutes Total= 44 mins:33 seconds

I am getting in lots of water too. --Pookie

SeekInnerThinChick 05-17-2004 06:11 PM

Saturday, May 15, and Sunday May 16: massive amount of housecleaning, minor carpentry, "stuff" rearranging, little projects-- exhausting!
Monday, May 17, 2004: 30 minutes elliptical, 30 minutes treadmill... jeez, for me, going to the gym is easier, gives me more energy, and is a lot more fun-- I just don't have the "Noodles clean gene!"

Noodles913 05-18-2004 02:35 AM

Monday 5-17-04

1 Hour Of Light Gardening/Digging/Watering
5 Loads Of Washing, Folding, Putting Away, Dragging More Across The House To Be Done...etc.
1 Hour Heavy Cleaning/Re-Organizing Office Desk..yay no more dust!!
:p

hannah_phi 05-18-2004 02:45 AM

Despite cramps I walked three miles today! :kickcan: I usually end up just lying around my first day, but today I decided to go out and walk. When I got back my cramps were worse, but I felt pretty good regardless.

POOKIE88 05-18-2004 01:27 PM

I climbed on my Gazelle and Gazelled today.

Drank my water also.

Wednesday: 1 hour of walking :)

POOKIE88 05-20-2004 03:06 PM

Just for good measure -- I Gazelled several times today. My car is in the shop and I am stuck at home so I figure I might as well be doing something HEALTHY.

Unlike NOODLES I can always find something OTHER than housework to do.

What is that Joan Rivers joke: She hates housework because you clean your entire house and then
6 months later you have to do it all over again
