Well...I was a bad Noodles... But don't crack that whip just yet!!
I got 3 hours sleep and got up at 6:30 AM and went and judged the competition. I wound up being there for 11 hours. No kidding. But it was a good thing cause I was on my feet almost the whole time, walking, walking...and more walking and I flushed out my stone or did something cause it doesn't seem to be bothering me anymore. I'll take it easy today though just to play it safe.
Noodles, glad you are feeling better. hopefullu the stone just went away. but please try and take it easy for at least one day
squeak, thanks i am pretty happy the shop is a better reputation and been around a lot longer so fingers crossed everything works out. hopefully i will be doing today what you did yesterday..
Sorry about your kidney stone, Noodles. Get well soon.
I just wanted to thank you ladies, who gave me some advice a while ago on my DIL. She and I are starting to build a good relationship! Since I am at her house for nine hours I clean, and do laundry and any thing else that I can do to make her life easier. I have started praying for her every day and I can't believe what a difference it has made for me. I feel a love and respect for her that is growing over time. She talks to me for 20-30 minutes when she comes in from work in the evening. I am getting to know her as a person and we are learning to communicate on a personal level. She is not very demonstrative, but each day I touch her arm or pat her back and she is a lot more relaxed around me now. Thank you for helping me see that sometimes things are not as they appear and that she felt that she had to come on strong with me because she had been having to defend herself from an onslot of critizism from her MIL (my husbands mean ex). Now that she knows that I am not going to put her down and that I am respecting her wishes as the mother of Shawn, we are doing great!! Thanks, again!!
Have a good week, Chicks! Irish
That Penguin game is just too much fun! I love it.
Saying thanks for the tattoo seems wrong since I didn't have much to do other then be there. But I have always wanted a yin yang, and the outside ring I found in a Henna book I have.
I've put pictures up in the user forum, sort of before and after, or before and "in progress" at least. More work still to do, of course. I tried to put the pictures in Alternachicks, but I couldn't get it to work. So here goes:
SeekInnerThinChick-- Your weight loss is inspiring to me...we are of similar age and start weight (yeah, I was 9 lbs heavier but I just got caught up to your start weight!). And you have stuck to it over a year, and you shop in the regular sizes dept now! How awesome!
I'll post some pix just as soon as I have some "after" photos for comparison.
