:bravo: Inner you have lost a bunch, way to go girl! I have a saggy wrinkled neck thing going on, now that I only have 1 chin

Amyjo thanks for the link, some neat stuff there.

Sojo once you get used to watching the carbs its not that bad, said the girl who just ate cake....

Went to WW this evening and I have lost the 1 lb I gained last week :cb: I am back down to 160 lbs -YESSSSSSS!!!!

blugirrl1 03-30-2004 07:49 AM

all right Mauvais. whoohoo. I am still at 181 maybe this week it will just fall off. lol

SeekInnerThinChick 03-30-2004 11:03 AM

Too cool. Congratulations, "Bad Red?" Is that what it means?

I've lost a pound too, but I'm not claiming it yet, as TOM has just gotten underway. I guess I was retaining water, and the scale had not moved for 12 days.

SeekInnerThinChick--

My weight loss has been slow with daily ups and downs too. I think the great cosmic somebody-up-there just wants to mess with us sometimes. ;)

Mauvais -- Good for you! :bravo:

mauvaisroux 03-30-2004 11:26 AM

Thanks chicks :)

Seekinnerthinchick- it means evil redhead .....mauvais can mean bad or evil and roux means red head or red haired = Mauvaisroux

well except in New Orleans where roux is apparently a gravy or sauce...ha! ha! evil gravy!

blugirrl1 03-31-2004 07:56 AM

Mauvais : rolling around on the floor here. roux is definately some evil gravy. don't mean to toot my own horn, but i make a fabu sausage and chicken gumbo. knock your socks off. BAM

mauvaisroux 03-31-2004 09:33 AM

So what time should I arrive for dinner Heather?

I love gumbo! I actually went to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and basically ate my way around the French Quarter

I love crawfish etouffe, red beans and rice, po'boys, and andouille sausage. I ate blackened catfish about 5 times when I was there - delicious :T
I totally pigged out :ink: and still managed to lose 5lbs - go figure  Maybe I should invent the "Nawlins Diet" and write a bestseller

Teufelchen 04-01-2004 12:43 PM

:coffee: Cheers to your new cookbook Mauv!!

I lost 1 lb this week. Now 183.5. I seem to keep losing and gaining the same 1-11/2 lbs. over the last few weeks. ARGGHHHH!!! But I'm back on track and determined. Have upped the exercise and am journalling faithfully. Must....go....down......must......go......down.... ..

SeekInnerThinChick 04-01-2004 12:49 PM

Thanks, everybody! Well, the 170 number has "stuck" for a couple of days now, so I'm claiming it on my signature. After TOM, I've lost nearly four pounds in a rush-- water, I'm sure.

Still, it's the big 5 - 0 for me! I'll be walking on eggshells until it gets down to 168 or so, then I'll feel like I left the '70's for good, lol! Intellectually, I know it's just a number like every other number, but I can't help feeling like celebrating! New shoes...

Teufelchen 04-01-2004 12:56 PM

 New shoes are ALWAYS a great reward.

blugirrl1 04-01-2004 03:28 PM

Mauvais : any time sometime this week is chix sausage gumbo w/ po boys.. i love cajun food. mm mm
Seek : CONGRATULATIONS. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Teufelchen : keep going!! you are doing good! :)
still holding at 181.. better than gaining.

Sojourner 04-01-2004 03:37 PM

Well

My low carbing sort of back-fired and I went on a junk food binge for a couple of days  :eating2: I didn't really overeat... just hit a few fast food joints and had some desserts. So my weight is still the same, wavering between 176 and 175.5 for the last five days, which actually means if I behave myself the scale should drop soon!

Noodles913 04-01-2004 04:37 PM

I'm at 174. I decided to see if I could fit into my favorite summer rompers that I have saved since 1997 when they last fit and...OMG...THEY FIT!! Well, they are a little tight but...by the time summer has officially hit here...They'll fit perfect!! YAY!!! I usually don't save clothes but I LOVE these...I had too...oh and I saved my VS Bras and Undies from back then too...I'll see if those fit when I reach 165.

Keep going everyone!! YAY!! :cb: :cb: :cb:

blugirrl1 04-02-2004 07:31 AM

whoohoo Noodles. what is it about saving some clothes? i have a stack of jeans. is getting smaller true, since i am getting rid of the big sizes as i grow out of them. but i even have a panty stash. hehe
