Mauvais, it's an older film. Well, a couple of years old. It's a creepy thing. Here's a review for it...

And we'll have grilled cheese during Benny and Joon, chocolate during Chocolat, a case of Coke for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas ;) and a box of Kleenex to catch the drool during Don Juan de Marco. (oh, the look in his eyes during that entire film.... ) Is anyone going to see Kill Bill? Looked interesting! Oh, and the new Loony Toons Back in Action movie looks good too, lol. |
Yeah well, even in Pirates of the Carribean he looked hot -gold teeth and all- he can swashbuckle me anytime!
|
Man, making kids fund-raise makes me so hot under the collar. I HATED selling door-to-door.
That Bill Murray movie is "Lost in Translation". I can't wait to see "Kill Bill" and "Once Upon a Time in Mexico"! |
Jennifer-I agree COMPLETELY with you about the fund raisers. I try NOT do them. The few times I've given in they have cost me more than they have saved me if you get my meaning!!! DS13 just came home with one today (magazines) so I'm dealing with it now too.
Ellis-That movie looks good!! |
I recall when Nicholas was in the 5th grade and attended a new school. Their fundraiser not only singled out the children, but they also awarded a trip to Hawaii to the teacher whose class sold the most items.
If the school system needed money so badly that they had to entice the children to peddle, why are they spending the proceeds to send teachers to Hawaii? You can buy a lot of textbooks with the cost of such a vacation. Lost in Translation DOES look good! |
Suzanne - the Deppathon might be good, but the refreshments are EVIL! Ya know - I am really worried about overeating next week when Rob is gone. I never want to cheat or pig out in front of him. Now I'm going to have 10 days of pure temptation! You can still come sleep on my futon. It's real comfy. Oh yeah, my neighbors car was stolen last night, the nice policelady knocked on my door at 2:30 this morning to ask if I knew where the 80-something neighbor was because they found her car abandoned, and she was nowhere to be found. Turns out she was in a nursing home. Good thing, cos I thought she died. :( We didn't know what happened, just that she hadn't been there in a month or so. ANYWAY you are welcome to camp out, then I won't be alone! You can guard the front door!
|
Jen.. SPA WEEK! I'll keep you in line :) We'll exercise and play with our food and dye our hair! We'll turn your basement into a gym. We can paint it and hang posters of Johnny Depp on the walls! Then we can come back to my house and paint my awnings :s:
Car theft in your neighborhood? Scary! Hmm, let me park my car in front of your house for a few days. Let me insure it first :p |
I just watched "28 Days Later" and "Anger Management". They were both okay. I have to admit that when they asked the lesbian pornostar girls if size mattered I was rolling on the floor.
"This is where we disagree, I like them big" "And I like them enormous" ROFLMAO! Miss Chris |
Suzanne, in order to be stolen, it's gotta be driveable!
Hasteltines car was almost out of gas, they only made it to the University and then it pooped out. There was a frat party that night, but I don't think any of them would be that gutsy. About the worse thing they do is puke in front of the house. The joys of living on fraternity row! If we have spa week, keep in mind that Cody gets manicures and dye jobs too! He'd be more than happy to paint our toenails! I saw Second Hand Lions tonight. Really good! It was a happy feel good movie. They all did a beautiful job. I cried a couple of times, but I think that is from the weird tone problem I have. I even cried in The Hulk trailers...I must be part dog! |
Watched Frailty (Matthew McConaughey, Bill Paxton). Not great, but definately interesting. Creepy without being very graphic.
|
I saw Under the Tuscan Sun, I liked it! Francis Oh was hilarious as a pregnant lesbian, Diane Lane was a doll and the scenery was amazing....it was also a nice movie with a nice message....Be careful what you wish for -- you just might get it!!!
|
You know who makes me gag? Bill Pullman. Where the heck did they get HIM from? It'd be nice if he'd try moving his lips while he talks.
I really like Lake Placid, though. :D It's a bit of a giggle. |
ellis
Lake Placid was one of those movies that you just hated that you liked it...it was fun, also the shark movie that came out around that time....both I saw on cable, and they were pretty good....you know that movie about the genetically engineered shark --thinking........ah! Deep Blue Sea!! Yes, there is a rule in my world, anything that Johnny Depp is in is a must see...automatic girls night....how nice it is to have such great friends in your sister...Suzanne and Jennifer...you touch me!!!! |
I picked up that rag the Enquirer (sp?) and apparently just seeing Johnny Depp sent someone into labor. I could see how that could happen ;-)
I thought Frality was really interesting. Looking forward to Jack Black's latest and Kill Bill. But if you want to vomit blood read how full of himself Quentin Tarintino has gotten in the Playboy interview this month. Miss Chris |
