Just to clear things up, Sarajane... my friend Jim is gay with a partner of his own. ;) He is the perfect friend... doesn't create any tension in my marriage. Although he DOES think my DH is pretty attractive!
Congratulations on the Shoppe!!

I am going to get the rest of the parts so I can call my landlord, and finish up hooking up my dryer. I still need to buy the vent pieces, and have the wondow knocked out, and the vent installed.

I am also going to finish cleaning my kitchen and prepare for my candle party this week.

Sojo - I campletely understand about the avoiding people thing. I have done nothing but avoid most of my friends for the last 2 months. I am just starting to be social again.

And something that was a very big deal for me - I also went to dinner with the boy last night, and no nothing happened. Just a hug good night.

Squeak, I hope you're okay about last night. Hugs, sweetie...

Squeak-ME TOO!!! I hardly saw anyone all winter!! (Hardly got any work done either!!!) NOW I am sleeping non-stop because of anxiety and an increase in my meds. I want to start socializing again, but I'd have to clean the house first. (snicker)

Den, you can count sleeping as a ta-da. You NEED to sleep when you're feeling that way. And you don't need to clean your house. I'm sure your friends love you so much that they don't give a damn about the state of your house. :grouphug:

wsw... good for you staying op! I'm sorry you're having a rough time emotionally. I hope things are better for you soon.
love and hugs... ellis

I got a new scale, even if it tells me I weigh more now!

Ellis- I work in the Resort and Wedding business. The BEST friends to have are gay. Brings no trouble into the marriage. Besides it's not like my girlfriends that ger "Whacked- out" or pissed off over trifle things! My hubbie is a southern red-neck that is a bit phobic over gay relations. (deep rooted southern fear!)
Well I always trust the opinions of my guys, so if yours thinks the DH is good looking then he must be. I have stopped trying to fix up 2 friends of mine that have the same jobs at different country clubs. They met at a dinner at one of the clubs and it was not a match. But atleast they both know I love them enough to introduce them to each other. They are perfect friends now.

thanks for the support, ellis! i'm still op and hanging in there, albeit by a dainty thread, but i know that counts.
