Ummm let me see, the last movie I watched that made me think think I can't remember the name ROFL...seriously, it was about revalations.........now thats a thinker.

Dancer in the Dark
Breaking the Waves (long, very sad, made me cry, beautiful)
A Chorus Line (goofy I know, but I love this movie)
Women on the verge of a nervous breakdown
Stella (another boo-hoo flick)

I watched the Ring tonight. VERY GOOD! Very suspenseful! But my husband and I sat around discussing the possibilities and the whys. Can we say needs a sequel or more explanantion because our imaginations came up with more.

I finally saw Star Trek Nemesis. It was somewhat entertaining but in terms of Star Trek it SUCKED! Also saw Die Another Day... which was a fine popcorn movie if you are able to suspend all notions of reality for a couple of hours. Saw both at the local budget theater so I didn't waste too much money on either.

I saw a very disturbing but equally brilliant film recently called IRREVERSIBLE. Not sure if you are able to see it in North America. It's painfully disturbing, but I am still thinking about this movie almost every day a month after watching it. It's sort of along the lines of Memento, where its played "backwards", only, to me, MUCH better than Memento.

Blackbird - I loved Breaking the Waves and WOTVOANB! I absolutely LOVE Almodovar and recently got Tie me Up! Tie me Down from Amazon auctions!

Me too! I had to watch Mulholland Drive 2 times in a row because I HAD to understand what was happening (I still don't).

Did you already see Hable con Ella? BEAUTIFUL movie!!

You did my dear... I just couldn't NOT see it. Was it just me or did a lot of the movie have this low budget feel to it?? There were some decent scenes... like when the Enterprise slammed into that ship... but otherwise nothing too special. The whole Data thing was just too much. And I never did figure out exactly what Picard's evil clone wanted with him... a transplant of sorts? Sigh... how disappointing.

I think there was alot of reused shots in it that gave its I been there done that feel. The Data thing was gross and unworthy. I was about to vomit on my shoes by the time I left the theatre. But we are all saved they have come out with DS9 on DVD and its wonderful.

The most consistent Star Trek with a Captain and an Emmisary.

I watched What Lies Beneath and Witches of Eastwick last night. I am looking for Michelle Pfeiffer performance depth as an actress. Any opinions? Mostly I just think she looks painfully thin in What Lies Beneath.

Yeah, that whole "Superdata" flying through space to the other ship thing really bugged me

Oooh, I loved that movie. There will be another, but it will be a prequel, so we get to find out what originally happened to the girl. I'm not sure it would be as good, though.

I don't like movies that make me think. I like movies that make me sit on the edge of my seat!

I saw Daredevil tonight and although I have never read a daredevil comic in my life I enjoyed the movie just the same.

Me too. I spend alot of time looking for movies that are suspenseful and scary. Got myself very worked up for the Blair Witch Project, what a disappointment.

I think Daredevil turned out so well because they stuck to the heart of the story. Its one of the greatest comic moments of all time when Bullseye kills Electra. They even staged it just like the cover. It was beautiful.

I want to see a movie this weekend. One good for the whole family. Any suggestions?
